Since the last time I blogged, I somehow got kicked off the blogger network and couldn't get back on . I tried and tried and then gave up. Today I tried again and they let me on. Go figure.I must have been bad or something . I decided they were punishing me...or have I finally gone paranoid? I know paranoid. I had 3 paranoid patients this week at work. Altzheimers and paranoia are deffinitally a lethal combination. A regular paranoid knows who you are and hates your guts an altzheimers one can't remember who he hates so it must be you. The guy patient hit me when I tried to give him his meds then one of the ladies would forget I had given her her meds and told every one all day that I was trying to kill her because I wouldn't give her her meds and it was making her head buzz. The other old gal wouldn't take her meds or eat because we were trying to "poison her". She made the sign of the cross over her pancakes and orange juice before she would even try anything. She must have figured one bite wouldn't kill her so that is all she would take. By the end of the day I was looking over my shoulder at everyone and had gone all shifty eyed. Paranoia is real catchy...hope altzheimers isn't. I've been over exposed.
Well, on to something more pleasant like movie reviews...saw" a night at the meusem"...cute.. I loved Micky Rooney. ( I thought he was dead) He made a great cuddley little bad guy. Saw "The Good Shepherd" strange. The guy that started the CIA was nuts to say the least. Won't watch that one again. Am looking forward to ...A-A-R-R-R- "Pirates of the carabbean "#3. Love that Jack Sparrow. Oh , also "Transformers" looks to be good too. I love special effects.
Brian and Ashlee are still here. I better not say anything else. I hate it when I have to bite my toung.
Jon and I went to Tucson weekend before last to watch the kids while Carrie was in the hospital with an intestinal infection.( She is all better now) It almost killed us. Jon and I were so tired after 4 days of poopy diapers, the terrible 2's, and cholesterol soaked happy meals that coming home to Brian and Ashlee and the police was almost a relief. Yeah.. while we were in Tucson B&A got into a big fight Brian knocked the bathroom door down to keep Ashlee from doing herself in with my butcher knife . She managed to put the knife down long enough to call the police. Glad we missed that one. Guess the neighbors were entertained.
B&A brought a kitten home a couple of weeks ago( they just couldn't let it be "killed" in the Chuey's parking lot). Just what we needed. They named it Lucy until they realized Lucy had some extra equipment and now he is Louie. I call him "trouble". He bounces down the stairs every morning and I say" here comes trouble". He slaps the dogs around, eats Belesa's food and then bites her on the head. Louie takes after his owners. Iv'e had the dogs on a diet( vet's orders) Maggie is beginning to look longingly at Louie sort of that "tasty little morsel" look. With any luck............
There is never a dull moment here. Jon and I rode our quads a couple of weeks ago and I managed to roll mine over on a flat smooth piece of road.I still haven't figured that one out. I was toodeling along , looking cool in my sunglasses, and all of a sudden I was out of control and flying through the air. ( at my age that's not a good thing) I landed on my butt, which was a good thing as I have ample deriere. Jon came back to help me up and we got to laughing so hard we got all weak and I almost didn't get up at all. I wonder if they have 4 wheel drive rescue tow trucks for getting little ole laddies and their crashed quads back to civilization? Thank goodness my quad was still working and I road her home. ( no broken bones. My butt was already cracked...ha, ha)
Well...that's it for now.
