Well yesterday was the big day. I had my seconed cataract surgery. It was nothing like the first one. If I had had this one first I might have hesitated for the seconed. The first one when they took the dresg off I could see so clear . Colors were awsome and I was thrilled. Today when the bandage came off I thought I was looking through a sandstorm, that some of the sand had deposited itself in my eye, and I flunked the wall eye chart exam. All I could see was the big E. I felt like crying and was about to ask permission to do so ( I was afraid I would wash the surgery away if I didn't ask first) when the Dr. told me that what I was seeing was what the majority of post OR people saw at first and not to worry it would clear in a couple of days, I swallowed the lump in my throat and bravely marched out of the office with my big pair of "free" sun goggles and a bag full of eye drops. By the time we got home things were already starting to clear and right now I am writing this account with cheapy dollar store reading glasses and when I took them off I could see the house across the street completely unassisted by glasses...woo hoo...amazing!! Iv'e decided that my next purchase will be a completely outrageous, charming, and sophisticated pair of designer sunglasses and will be having a "crush my old lady Sun City sun goggles that fit over my regular glasses" party in my driveway where I will demolish them with my Pt. Cruiser. Thanks everyone for your prayers...they worked.

You need to get some of those "Far Side", catseye glasses... you know, the ones from the 50s with the jewels in the corner... SOOOOOO COOL!
Glad everything went well. We were praying. (Now, if your eyesight improves to the point of seeing THROUGH things... give me you doctor's number. And we AIN'T gonna play poker together!)
Time to update.
