As you can see I have been gone a month. In a months time I could have written a small novel, traveled Europe, or hiked the Grand Canyon and back...but alas it was none of these. I have been right here living life as it comes at you. Mom's husband, Ken passed away a week ago Monday so I have been busy with mom and the funeral and all that entailed. Before that Ken had taken a turn for the worse and mom had also been sick and had to go to the hospital for a few days so it has been a busy hiatus.Mom is doing well. She is sad at Kens passing but I think is also feeling the freedom of not being a care giver anymore. She is slowly making new schedules and doing things with her girlfriends at the retirement center. Joined an exercise class and can now attend the bible studies that she enjoys so much there. She seems to have gotten some of her energy back too and is forging ahead which is great. I did actually get some painting done this past month and have finished the 10 paintings I had planned. Now to market myself. We will see how that goes. I am keeping this short and sweet . Gotta run and do errands this afternoon so will sign back in later....ta ta for now.
